Install an E-Mail Form
Forms can be used in a variety of ways. Receive feedback from the public, create an Online order form, etc. Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 comes with its own Default Form Handler but we recommend that you use our standard Form to E-Mail handler (this is described below).
The first step in adding a form to your Web site is quite simple. While you are in the Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 Editor, click on "INSERT" and choose "Form Field". There are many to choose from, as shown below:
Any of these form fields can be customized, resized, etc. by clicking on the form field with your right mouse button and then clicking on Form Field Properties.
After you have completed your form, you need to tell it what to do. Which e-mail address gets the form data mailed to them? What should the subject of that mail message be? Which page is displayed after the Internet user clicks the "Submit" button?
Again, you'll need to use your right mouse button. Simply "right-mouse-click" on any form field (text box, radio button, etc.) and choose Form Properties.
